Freelance Driver Trainer

Freelance Driver Trainer (Enfield) — £150 per day, contract basis. This role, offered through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial on behalf of PDT Fleet Training Solutions, involves delivering half-day (4-hour) and full-day coaching sessions in category B vehicles, primarily vans, at client sites. Duties include conducting on-road and classroom-based induction or upgrade courses, alongside completing precise assessment reports to deadline. Suited to instructors or assessors with previous fleet experience, the position requires a professional manner and reliable approach.

Working patterns vary according to client bookings, offering flexibility across the week. This contract provides an opportunity to work with a respected provider in the sector, supporting diverse clients nationwide from an Enfield base.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on‑road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward‑thinking providers of fleet driver training.

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.

Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

• Flexibility to choose which days you work (you will manage your diary).
• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday‑Friday.
• Weekend work is occasionally available at enhanced rates.
