We’re working with an Outstanding secondary school in Brent that is looking to welcome a Business Studies Teacher to the team from October Half Term 2026. It’s a school with high expectations, a supportive approach to staff development and a real focus on helping students achieve strong academic outcomes.

The role would suit an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge, or a strong ECT ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll be teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5, with plenty of opportunity to bring the subject to life through real-world examples, current business issues and practical discussion.

The role will include:

Teaching Business Studies across KS4 & KS5

Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Preparing students for GCSE and A Level Business

Helping students develop strong analytical and evaluative skills

Using relevant examples to bring topics beyond the textbook

Assessing student progress and providing useful feedback

Supporting students with examination preparation

Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom

Contributing to the wider development of the Business curriculum

Working closely with colleagues within the department

The school is looking for someone who knows their subject well and can make Business Studies interesting and accessible to students of different abilities.

You’ll need to be confident in the classroom, have high expectations and be able to build positive relationships with students.

KS5 teaching experience would be an advantage, particularly if you're confident delivering A Level Business, although strong secondary teachers with the right subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.
