The Role
Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse young people into employment? We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver engaging, inclusive education as part of a dynamic Supported Internship programme in London. You will plan and deliver classroom sessions (virtual and in-person), support interns to achieve Functional Skills qualifications (Entry Level 3 – Level
2), and provide 1:1 tuition when needed. You will work closely with employers, families, job coaches, and local authorities to help interns build confidence, skills, and progress into sustainable work. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging daily lessons (in-person and virtual)
• Support interns to complete accredited portfolios (e.g. Pearson’s Work Skills)
• Provide 1:1 tuition where needed
• Assess learning needs and develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work with employers and job coaches to prepare interns for work
• Track progress, attend reviews, and contribute to student career planning
