Academics are currently recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hounslow on a temporary ongoing basis.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important part in creating a safe, positive, and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during their lunch break, ensuring they remain safe and well-supported. You will help maintain a clean and organised dining area, support pupils where needed, and encourage positive behaviour and interactions.

11:30am - 1:30pm
Pay:
From £14.50 - £16 per hour (depending on experience)

- Supervise pupils during lunchtime and ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Support pupils in the dining hall and playground
- Replenish drinking water and ensure pupils have access to water
- Clean up spillages promptly and safely
- Clean and wipe down tables following lunchtime
- Encourage good manners, positive behaviour, and respectful interactions
- Support pupils with their lunchtime routines where required
- Monitor pupils and respond appropriately to any minor incidents
- Promote a safe, calm, and welcoming environment
- Report any safeguarding or welfare concerns to the appropriate member of staff
- Work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupils during lunchtime
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and reliable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise children confidently and fairly
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy school environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
