Speech and Language Teaching Assistant

Speech & Language 1:1 Teaching Assistant Full-Time Long-Term DE22 Enlightenment Education Derby Enlightenment Education is recruiting a dedicated Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a welcoming school in the DE22 area . This is a full-time, long-term role , Monday to Friday, supporting a child with speech, language and communication needs.

The Role Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) Working closely with teachers and external Speech & Language Therapists Supporting communication development, confidence building and daily learning tasks Creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment Full-time hours:
Monday Friday, 8:30am3:30pm

What Were Looking For Experience supporting children with SLCN or SEND A patient, encouraging and reliable approach Strong communication skills and the ability to follow SALT programmes Commitment to long-term work and pupil progress Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference
