London/ temporary / £90 - 100 per day Depending on experience

Teacher Active are recruiting for experienced SEN TAs to work within specialist SEND settings across Southwark
.

We work with schools supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, sensory needs and physical disabilities
.

As an SEN TA
, you may be required to provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access learning, promote communication and independence, and work closely with teachers and other professionals to meet individual needs.

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs
• A good understanding of safeguarding
• Personal care experience would be beneficial
