Long Term Futures is recruiting a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Haringey this September.

This is a general classroom Teaching Assistant role, ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in pupils' learning throughout the school day. You'll work alongside the class teacher, supporting lessons, leading small groups and helping children build the confidence and independence needed to make strong progress.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils during English, Maths and wider curriculum lessons
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce teacher-led learning
• Deliver targeted reading, phonics and numeracy interventions
• Provide additional support to pupils who are working below age-related expectations
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence
• Help prepare resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment
