Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant ready for your next opportunity within a primary school? Academics are looking for a motivated and reliable Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a school in Waltham Forest.
This role offers the opportunity to become a key member of the classroom team, supporting pupils with their learning and development while working alongside experienced teaching staff.

About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest, you will provide valuable support across the classroom, helping pupils stay engaged and get the most from their learning.
You'll work alongside the class teacher, assisting with lessons, working with individual pupils and small groups, and helping to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being actively involved in school life and wants to have a visible impact on pupils' day-to-day progress.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils across the primary classroom.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
Assist the teacher with lessons, activities and classroom preparation.
Help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Encourage positive behaviour and independent learning.
Adapt support to suit different pupils' abilities and needs.
Prepare and organise classroom resources.
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Promote an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Education or a relevant childcare/education subject.
Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable.
A good understanding of children's learning and development.
Confident supporting pupils individually and within groups.
Patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff.
Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply.
