A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Putney is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nursery Teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and enjoys creating an engaging, stimulating and supportive environment in which young children can thrive.

Take responsibility for teaching and learning within a Nursery class.

Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Observe, assess and monitor children's development and progress.

Adapt learning to meet a range of individual needs, including SEND and EAL.

Work closely with Early Years support staff to ensure children receive high-quality provision.

Build positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community.

Contribute to planning, assessment and the wider life of the school.

Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Has experience teaching within Nursery or the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.

Is nurturing, creative and enthusiastic about Early Years education.

Has strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Works effectively as part of a collaborative Early Years team.

Up to MPS5 pay offered.
