We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology to join our successful department in a high performing school. The department has seven workshops and a food technology room, in addition to a laser cutter, two CNC routers and a 3D printer printing farm. We use CAD and CAM extensively at all key stages, using Solid Works and 2D design.
This is a permanent role that would commence January 2027 and would be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher on a full-time basis.,

Have an ability to teach Design & Technology in a way in which keeps students engaged and stimulated.
Have a proven record as an excellent classroom practitioner
Have experience of, or be willing to teach across all Key Stages
Be willing to teach Design & Technology up to Key Stage 4 in Resistant Materials / Product Design
Have excellent IT skills and be keen to keep up to date with current technology as all our portfolio submissions are electronic
Be an experienced teacher (or a newly qualified teacher with a specialism in product design / resistant materials or electronics)
