We are seeking an
exceptional Inclusion Lead / SENDCo
to join our experienced Senior Leadership Team and play a key strategic role in ensuring that inclusion is at the heart of our school.

The roleAs our
Inclusion Lead / SENDCo
, you will have strategic responsibility for leading, developing and evaluating SEND provision across our
split-site school
. Working closely with an experienced Senior Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to build on strong foundations while continuing to develop a highly effective, inclusive and ambitious SEND offer.
- Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across both sites.
- Ensure that pupils with SEND receive high-quality, personalised support that enables them to make excellent progress.
- Develop the confidence and expertise of teachers and support staff through effective coaching, training and collaboration.
- Work closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to ensure that provision is responsive and joined up.
- Promote high expectations and an inclusive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
- Ensure that SEND policies, systems and processes are effective, consistent and compliant with statutory requirements.
- Use assessment, evidence and pupil voice to evaluate the impact of SEND provision and drive further improvement.
- Contribute to whole-school strategic planning as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Champion creativity and innovation in our approach to meeting the diverse needs of our learners.
- Is an experienced and knowledgeable SEND professional with a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Has a proven track record of leading and developing high-quality SEND provision.
- Is an inspirational leader who can motivate, support and develop colleagues.
- Has high expectations for every pupil and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
- Is organised, reflective and able to work strategically across a complex, split-site setting.
- Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and professionals.
- Is creative, solution-focused and willing to think differently about how we meet the needs of our learners.
