Are you a qualified Secondary Sensory Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Chiswick? A specialist SEN school in Chiswick, West London is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Secondary Sensory Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Secondary Sensory Teacher to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with sensory needs across the secondary age range.

As a Secondary Sensory Teacher in this Chiswick school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that are accessible to pupils with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with colleagues to adapt learning and ensure pupils can make meaningful progress.
The Secondary Sensory Teacher Role In Chiswick Includes- Teaching pupils across KS3 and KS4 within a specialist SEN environment
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Adapting the curriculum to meet a range of sensory and additional needs
- Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff
- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to individual learning plans
- Creating a structured and engaging classroom environment
- Developing positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Working as part of a dedicated specialist team within the Chiswick school
The school is looking for a Secondary Sensory Teacher who has:
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within an SEN or specialist setting
- Experience working with pupils with sensory needs is highly desirable
- Knowledge of adapting teaching and learning for pupils with additional needs
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible and creative approach to teaching
- A genuine interest in working within specialist education
