Teach Now is seeking a creative and ambitious Music & Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5, encouraging creativity, self-expression and a genuine appreciation of the arts. The academy has a calm, purposeful learning environment built around excellence, responsibility and respect. Clear behaviour systems, strong pastoral support and visible senior leadership allow teachers to focus on delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.

• Plan and deliver engaging Music and Art lessons across the secondary age range.
• Set high expectations and support pupils of differing abilities to make strong progress.
• Assess pupils work and use outcomes to inform future teaching and curriculum planning.
• Contribute to creative projects, performances, exhibitions and enrichment activities.
• Promote confidence, cultural awareness and participation in the wider life of the academy.

• Hold UK-recognised QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Music, Art or both within a secondary setting.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Be enthusiastic, organised and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.
• Share the academys ambition for every pupil to achieve excellent outcomes.
