We are working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in East London who are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the secondary Science curriculum, helping students to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for the subject.

You will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons
• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and/or 4
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Support students in achieving their academic potential
• Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

The successful candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Experienced teaching Science within a secondary school setting
• Passionate about inspiring young people
• Confident in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Committed to high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
• Available to take up the position at short notice or from the agreed start date
