We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Teacher of Tourism and the Visitor Economy to join our team at The Roundhouse Campus in Derby. This role offers the chance to inspire the next generation of tourism professionals by delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential and progress into further study or rewarding careers within the sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Tourism and the Visitor Economy to deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their full potential. You’ll teach and support students across a range of tourism programmes, creating innovative learning materials, monitoring progress, and providing pastoral support. Working within a collaborative team, you'll help students develop industry knowledge, employability skills, and the confidence to progress into higher education or rewarding careers within the tourism sector.

You’ll be a knowledgeable and passionate tourism professional with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills. You’ll have experience teaching across different areas of Tourism and the Visitor Economy, an understanding of awarding body requirements, and a commitment to supporting students’ achievement and progression. Holding, or willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification, you will be dedicated to continuous professional development and creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

• Salary of non-qualified teacher £30,549; qualified teacher £34,239 to £45,987 per annum (this includes our recent pay award)
