The OpportunityA welcoming primary school in East Dulwich is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD and complex needs.
This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident in supporting a child who requires consistent structure, encouragement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

The Role As the childs 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:- Support learning across the Year 4 curriculum
- Help the pupil remain focused and engaged during lessons
- Implement strategies to support attention, regulation, and behaviour
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Monitor progress and provide feedback on learning and wellbeing
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil
- Has experience supporting children with ADHD and complex SEN needs
- Demonstrates strong behavioural management skills
- Is patient, resilient, and able to maintain clear boundaries
- Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Brings a positive, confident, and proactive attitude
