About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide Faculty level leadership and management of student casework, support, success and welfare related activity. Leading the faculty’s Student Support and Success team, they will oversee the coordination of student casework that requires faculty approval or intervention and support programmes and departments in MAPS dealing with individual casework, student support procedures and student welfare.
The role will lead on Faculty-level student success initiatives, support inclusive, data-informed approaches to education in alignment with UCL’s Education Strategy and EDI objectives. They will work closely with the Vice-Dean (Education), Faculty Student Success Lead and other colleagues to embed equitable practices across the curriculum and co-curricular activities. The role will oversee projects related to awarding gaps and student engagement, driving innovation and acting as a key liaison with UCL’s student success networks.

About youThe role holder must have experience of overseeing or coordinating student support processes, leading or overseeing student casework or comparable regulated experiences including decision making and management of procedures and risk and experience of a management role. In addition, excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, good knowledge of policy and best practice around access and participation, and commitment to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion are essential attributes for this role.
