We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Midday Assistant to join our friendly team and play an important role in supporting pupils during lunchtime.

As a Midday Assistant
, you will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that lunchtime is safe, enjoyable and well organised.

You will:

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other lunchtime areas.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils in following school expectations.
• Assist children during mealtimes and promote healthy eating habits.
• Help organise and facilitate constructive play activities.
• Support pupils in resolving minor disagreements and encourage positive friendships.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the lunchtime period.
• Respond appropriately to accidents and incidents, following school procedures.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils' welfare and inclusion.
• Promote a positive, caring and respectful atmosphere across the school.

• Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships.
• Is patient, caring and approachable.
• Has good communication and teamwork skills.
• Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
• Has high expectations of behaviour and can promote positive conduct.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Understands the importance of inclusion and equality.
