NJC Scale, Point 6

£23,399 Actual Salary per annum (£30,843 FTE)

Monday to Friday, 32.5 hrs per week

Term time only (38 weeks) per annum

The Inclusion Department is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EAL Coordinator to join our hard working team. English as an Additional Language (EAL) Coordinator works within a classroom setting either on a 1-2-1 basis or with a small group of children.

A CELTA qualification is desirable - Salary is dependent on relevant experience and training.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and an ability to work cooperatively with staff and students. They will be expected to support students, aged 11-18 years of age, who experience a range of learning difficulties.

This is a fixed term position until 16th July 2027 and will be reviewed at the end of this period.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, Term time only, 8.30am to 3.30pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. All staff are invited to do paid break duties at the rate of £15 per duty (depending on availability).
