University of the Arts London is seeking a part-time Lecturer for the MA Curating and Collections at Chelsea College of Arts. The role involves postgraduate teaching , assessment, curriculum development, student support, scholarship, and public-facing curatorial activities. Applicants should have relevant Higher Education teaching or equivalent experience, appropriate academic qualifications or professional experience, and an active research, teaching, knowledge exchange, and/or professional practice.

• A relevant undergraduate degree and Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.

• The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse student body.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different professional areas.
• An innovative and reflective approach to teaching.

Enroll In Courses

• Contribute to teaching and assessment on the MA Curating and Collections.
• Support curriculum development and ongoing scholarship.
• Bring specialist expertise relevant to innovative and critical approaches to curatorial practice.
• Help develop the curriculum around curatorial ethics, sustainability, inclusion, and challenges to established canons.
• Support the academic and pastoral development of postgraduate students.
• Work collaboratively with the Course Leader and wider course team.
• Contribute to course planning, administration, student engagement, and curriculum development.
• Help ensure teaching remains connected to contemporary creative and professional practice.
• Contribute to public-facing student activities, including the MA Curating and Collections degree show and Curatorial Assembly or equivalent projects.
