Prospero Teaching is looking for a qualified Computer Science teacher for an accredited secondary school in London, UK. The school is currently undergoing expansion from 6 to 10 forms of entry and has recently moved to newly constructed buildings, with excellent resources and facilities.
The school is seeking an outstanding teacher who is keen on student success and wellbeing, and who also strives to raise standards through developing outstanding methods of learning. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge in computer science and have the ability to teach inventively and creatively. The school ensures that full support for professional development is provided.
To qualify, you must:- Have a Bachelor of Education, with good standing
- Hold a specialism/strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Be eligible to work in the UK (UK Passport, Youth Mobility Visa)
- Be able to provide two professional teaching references covering the last two years
- Have up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero can provide you with this training)
- Successfully undergo a Certified Criminal Record Check
- Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment
- Successfully manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
- Be an exemplary role model for staff and students through teaching, professional knowledge and behaviour
- Encourage students to reach their full potential
