We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teacher to join our Mill Hill Nursery
, teaching and leading in our Preschool Room
, supporting routines and working alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality practice.

• Salary: £39,788.32 per annum, including up to 10% yearly performance bonus
• Hours:
  
  Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible shifts between 8:00-18:00
• Pattern: 50 weeks a year (not term time)

• Plan and deliver high-quality, EYFS-aligned teaching and learning in the Preschool Room.
• Support synthetic phonics and early reading, helping children build the foundations for school readiness.
• Track children’s developmental progress and plan activities that drive outstanding outcomes.
• Work alongside the Room Leader and wider team to deliver consistent, high-quality practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates and home learning support.
• Champion safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice across the room at all times.

• QTS or EYITT qualification (or a willingness to study towards this, having already completed an Early Years honours degree).
• Experience and confidence leading a team.
• A good understanding of synthetic phonics and early reading.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  
  Ability to work as part of a team: patient, empathetic, caring and friendly.
