We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London.
The Role- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
- Support students with learning, engagement and independence.
- Work closely with teachers and the SEN team.
- Assist students with physical/mobility needs where required.
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate - essential.
- School-based experience desirable.
- Patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a supportive Outstanding secondary school.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
