We are looking for a compassionate, organised and quietly tenacious professional to be a trusted bridge between home, school and partner agencies. You will help families navigate challenges, strengthen attendance and engagement, and ensure safeguarding concerns are recognised, recorded and acted upon with care and rigour.

No two days will be the same. One moment you may be welcoming a parent at a drop-in; the next, coordinating early help, following up attendance or making sure a child's views shape the plan around them. You will:

• build trusting, non-judgemental relationships with children and families, including those facing complex or changing circumstances;
• provide practical and emotional support, parenting guidance, workshops and sensitive signposting to specialist services;
• lead focused work to improve attendance and punctuality, particularly for pupils who are persistently absent or vulnerable;
• work closely with the SENDCo to support families through SEND processes, including EHCP-related support where appropriate;
• act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, responding promptly to concerns and contributing to early help assessments, referrals, plans and reviews;
• maintain timely, accurate and confidential safeguarding records, including effective use and monitoring of CPOMS;
• coordinate confidently with social care, health, police and other partners, attending multi-agency meetings and ensuring agreed actions happen; and
• champion the child's voice, helping every pupil feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
