Job Description

Rathfern Primary School is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Wraparound Playworker to start ASAP. Scale 2 £ 31,224 - £31,668 pro rata (38 weeks per year), approx. salary based on 0-5 years of service: £ 11,266 - £11,426

15 hours per week Mon-Fri (3pm- 6pm or 2.45pm- 5.45pm)

Temporary contract until 21 st July 2027 with possibility of being extended

Rathfern Primary School in committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Our recruitment processes follow guidance in the Department for Children, Schools and Families document Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education. All staff will be required to undertake a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and you will need to provide two employer references. A satisfactory DBS must be received before employees can start work in our school.

Original evidence of right to work within the United Kingdom will be required prior to commencement of employment i.e. National Insurance Number, Work Permits or Indefinite Leave to Remain. If the applicant has lived/worked overseas for 12 months or more since the age of 18, they will also be required to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct from the country (ies) they lived/work in at their own expense and provide these for our records.
