Primary school teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school community on a part-time basis. As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, happy and motivated to learn.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment information to inform teaching.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our school values.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience or knowledge of teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
• Is passionate about providing high-quality education for every child.
• Has strong communication and organisational skills.
• Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Understands and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
