KS2 Supply Teacher – Sutton Primary School We are currently recruiting for an experienced KS2 Supply Teacher to work in a well-established three-form entry primary school in Sutton, Surrey. This is an ongoing supply teaching opportunity for a qualified Primary Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stage 2 and able to quickly adapt to different classes and year groups. The school values flexibility, so the successful KS2 Teacher will need to be comfortable providing classroom cover where required.

While the main focus will be KS2, there may be occasions where you are asked to support another class or year group depending on the school's daily staffing needs. This role would suit a Primary Teacher, KS2 Teacher or experienced Supply Teacher looking for regular supply work in a supportive mainstream primary school. There is also potential for longer-term or full-time work for the right candidate.

• Teach engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2
• Follow existing lesson plans and school systems where required
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK Primary National Curriculum
• Support pupil progress, attainment and development
• Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
• Provide cover across different classes or year groups when required
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, Teaching Assistants and the wider school team

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – essential
• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Experience teaching KS2 pupils
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Flexible and adaptable approach to supply teaching
• Comfortable covering different classes and year groups when required
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Ability to support a range of learning needs in a mainstream primary school
• Reliable and professional approach
• Confidence using Google Classroom or willingness to learn
