SEND Teacher / HLTA – Small SEND Provision

Beulah Hill, SE19 Start: ASAP Full-time, Monday to Friday A mainstream primary school in Beulah Hill, SE19 is looking for an experienced SEND Teacher or confident HLTA to lead and teach a small SEND provision of up to six pupils.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with pupils with additional needs and is confident taking the lead in a classroom environment.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering an adapted and engaging curriculum
• Leading the SEND provision independently across the school day
• Supporting up to six pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Working closely with the school's SENCo and wider teaching team
• Directing and working alongside TAs within the provision
• Adapting learning and providing appropriate support based on individual needs
• Creating a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment

You are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working with pupils with SEND
• Confident planning and delivering lessons
• Able to lead a small classroom/provision independently
• An experienced HLTA, SEND Teacher or someone with strong relevant classroom experience
• Warm, patient and engaging, with excellent behaviour management skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with the SENCo and support staff

This is not a 1:1 TA role - the successful candidate will have responsibility for leading the provision and delivering learning to a small group of pupils.
