PURPOSE OF JOB:

To support the school's vision off ensuring that every student is safe, attend school, engages with their learning and is able to thrive, achieving their full potential.

The Inclusion, Wellbeing and Family Liaison Officer will work as a key member ofthe Inclusion team, proactively supporting students and families to identify,remove and overcome barriers to learning, attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and belonging. The postholder will serve as a key link between home and school,providing early intervention, pastoral support and coordinated access to external services and internal provision.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion and alongside theSEND, pastoral and attendance teams, the post holder will contribute to the consistent implementation of the Inclusion strategy across the school.

The Inclusion, Wellbeing and Family Liaison Officer will work proactively with students and families to identify and remove barriers to learning, attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and belonging. The postholder will serve as a key link between home and school,providing early intervention, pastoral support and coordinated access to external services and internal provision.

• Support the implementation of the school's inclusion strategy.
• Promote a culture of inclusion, belonging and positive relationships across the school.
• Oversee the day to day running of the Inclusion Hub.
• Teach andlead some core interventions to close the gaps in learning
• Identify and support students who may be vulnerable or at risk of underachievement,exclusion or disengagement.
• Work closely with the AHT Inclusion, SENCO, Heads of Year and pastoral teams toensure students receive appropriate support.
• Monitor the progress, wellbeing and engagement of identified students.
• Support reintegration programmes for students returning from periods of absence,suspension or alternative provision.
