Deputy Head Teacher

The Deputy Head post represents an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to develop their leadership skills within avery strong and supportive professional network. This exciting opportunity has come up inorder to support the capacity of our academy growth and leadership teams. In addition to the main aspect of this rolethe suitable candidate will also be required to support at one of our other academies on a regular basis.

The specific areas of this role will be agreed with the right candidate. If you have significant experience in any of the following areas and are an existing Deputy Head orcurrent Assistant Head then do get in touch for a further discussion.

You must have:

• Experience of and interest in the leadership of Inclusion & SEND
• Successful experience leading an area of improvement
• Delivering CPD and supporting the development of teachers at different levels of experience

• The abilityto identify and implement successful safeguarding, inclusion strategies for all pupils and SEND
• Excellent understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues, including recent developments within the primary phase
• Effective pastoral and behaviour management skills at middle orsenior leadership
• The abilityto develop excellent relationships

• Understanding of strategies that enable pupils to make excellent progress
