Senior Lecturer and Course Leader BA; Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation

London College of Fashion is looking for an experienced lecturer to play a leading role as part of our BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism and Content Creation course team. This is an opportunity to lead the design, development and delivery of an innovative programme, equipping the next generation of creatives with the skills to navigate a rapidly evolving communication landscape.

Based in the School of Media & Communication, this exciting and fast-moving course is designed to equip students with the knowledge, critical thinking, and journalistic skills needed to work in the dynamic world of fashion and media. Our students gain the subject knowledge and ethical awareness needed to thrive in journalism and content creation both within fashion and beyond.

As Course Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the course, overseeing all aspects of teaching, learning, and assessment. Drawing on your specialist expertise to enrich our pedagogy and curriculum, we are looking for someone who can push fashion journalism and content creation in innovative and critical directions, stimulating thought and practice while championing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your teaching and learning.

We are looking for a skilled practitioner with a strong academic background and a degree in Communications, Media, or a related discipline.

Proven experience of teaching and assessment experience in a higher education environment is essential, along with a track record of research or professional practice in your own area of specialism.

Your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and champion inclusive and creative learning will also be central to your success in this role.
