Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am-2:00pm Are you a confident and resilient individual with the presence to uphold high standards and the ability to build positive relationships with young people? Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an outstanding Behaviour Support Officer to help maintain a calm, purposeful and orderly environment across Years 7 and 8. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in student behaviour, wellbeing and achievement while making a genuine difference every day.

Your new role As Behaviour Support Officer, you will support the effective implementation of the school's Behaviour Policy, ensuring students understand expectations, boundaries and consequences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily running of the Reflection Room.
  • Supporting students whose behaviour is affecting their learning or the learning of others.
  • Delivering targeted behaviour interventions and restorative conversations.
  • Monitoring behaviour trends and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating detentions and behaviour-related sanctions.
  • Working closely with pastoral leaders, teaching staff and parents to improve student outcomes.
  • Maintaining a visible presence around the school and reinforcing high standards at all times.
    Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident, authoritative and able to maintain high expectations.
  • Be organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Have a good understanding of student welfare, safeguarding and behaviour support.
  • Be committed to helping young people succeed both academically and personally.
  • Experience working in a secondary school environment would be advantageous.
