A fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS / Nursery Teacher to join a warm, welcoming and progressive Orthodox Jewish primary school in Barnet, North London, from January 2027.

The school is a friendly, inclusive and forward-thinking one-form entry primary school that welcomes applications from candidates of all backgrounds who are happy to work within and contribute to the Jewish ethos and traditions of the school.

We are seeking a qualified teacher with strong EYFS experience to teach in Nursery and provide a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

The Nursery is well supported, with Nursery Teachers and Nursery Assistants working alongside the class teacher. The school also provides staff with substantial PPA time, with children taught by specialist teachers, including Jewish Studies.

There is also an early Friday finish during the autumn and winter months.

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging EYFS learning.
• Create stimulating indoor and outdoor continuous provision.
• Support children's communication, language, literacy, mathematics, physical and personal development.
• Use observation and assessment to identify children's needs and next steps.
• Adapt provision to support children with SEND, working closely with the SENCO.
• Establish a warm, nurturing environment with high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Work collaboratively with Nursery staff, teaching assistants and wider school colleagues.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, health and safety.
• Contribute positively to the wider life and development of the school.

• A qualified teacher with QTS/WTS.
• Experienced in EYFS, with Nursery experience highly desirable.
• Warm, nurturing and passionate about early years education.
• Committed to inclusive practice and children's wellbeing.
• A strong team player who works effectively with support staff and colleagues.
• Happy to work within the Jewish ethos and traditions of the school.
