As an English & Media Studies Teacher, you will:- Teach KS4 English Language and Literature
- Deliver GCSE Media Studies
- Teach Level 3 Media Studies to Key Stage 5 students
- Deliver GCSE English resit classes within the sixth form
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with departmental expectations
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes
- Foster excellent engagement, literacy, analytical, and communication skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialist knowledge of English and Media Studies
- Experience teaching GCSE English
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or Level 3 Media Studies
- Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
