Are you a qualified Spanish Teacher or MFL Teacher looking for a new opportunity in London?
We are seeking an experienced Spanish Specialist and MFL Curriculum Lead to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from November 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Spanish Teacher to combine excellent classroom teaching with responsibility for MFL curriculum leadership. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, high expectations and a genuine commitment to improving pupil progress and attainment.
The Role - Spanish Teacher / MFL Curriculum Lead in London- Teach Spanish across GCSE and A level, delivering engaging and challenging lessons to pupils of different abilities.
- Lead the development, planning and implementation of the MFL curriculum.
- Monitor pupil progress, attainment and outcomes, using assessment to inform teaching and curriculum planning.
- Develop high-quality teaching resources and schemes of learning for Spanish and MFL.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
- Support pupils with SEND through appropriate differentiation, intervention and inclusive classroom strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour, high expectations and a strong learning culture.
- Contribute to departmental improvement, enrichment activities and wider school priorities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong Spanish subject knowledge and secondary teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Spanish and/or MFL at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Experience of curriculum planning, development or subject leadership.
- A strong understanding of assessment, progress and attainment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Spanish Teacher, MFL Teacher, Spanish Specialist or existing MFL Lead to take on a curriculum leadership position within a supportive secondary school in London.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
