A specialist SEN Primary school is seeking a compassionate and reliable Children's Support Worker to support pupils with SEN including complex needs This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting vulnerable children.
The Role:- Supporting pupils with SEND, medical needs
, including autism and additional needs such as ADHD and physical disabilities - Providing personal care (toileting, hygiene, changing) with dignity and sensitivity
- Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and daily routines
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff
- Ensuring safeguarding and pupil wellbeing are always prioritised
- Experience working with SEND
, care, or vulnerable individuals (schools, care, or community settings) - Confidence and willingness to carry out personal care
- Calm, empathetic, and dependable approach
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
