Senior Consultant - Energy

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 + benefits

We’re seeking a Senior Consultant to help grow a leading consultancy’s energy practice. This is a pivotal role supporting clients across the low-carbon landscape - from smart metering and energy flexibility to heat networks, hydrogen, and digital transformation.

You’ll combine consulting expertise, commercial awareness, and technical insight to deliver meaningful solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

What you’ll be doing :

* Lead and deliver consulting projects across areas such as smart metering, flexibility, and low-carbon energy

* Develop proposals, manage bids, and identify new business opportunities

* Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders

* Mentor junior consultants and help grow the team’s technical and commercial capability

* Represent the organisation at key events and working groups, sharing insights and thought leadership

* Contribute to business growth through repeat work and new client engagement

What we’re looking for:

* Experience working for a consultancy firm/in a consultancy capacity

* Strong understanding of the evolving UK energy landscape (particularly around areas such as smart metering, flexibility and DSR)

* Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead consulting engagements

* Track record in winning business, proposal writing, and solution selling

* Commercially minded with strong analytical and organisational skills

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
