Talent is working in partnership with a forward-thinking sustainability consultancy to recruit an Energy Modeller to join their growing building performance and energy modelling team. This role is ideal for someone with around 2 years experience in energy modelling who is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive consultancy environment focused on low-energy and sustainable building design. The Energy Modeller will support the delivery of energy modelling and overheating assessments across residential and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities will include building energy modelling using Design Builder and/or IES VE, delivering overheating analysis in line with TM52 and TM59, supporting building performance optimisation at design stage, assisting with compliance assessments and technical reporting, and working closely with senior consultants and wider project teams on live projects. The successful candidate will have at least two years experience in energy modelling or building performance, hands-on experience using Design Builder and/or IES VE, and proven delivery of TM52 and TM59 overheating assessments.

A genuine interest in sustainable buildings, low-energy design, and building performance is essential. Candidates must be able to commute to Milton Keynes three days per week and have full right to work in the UK. The role offers a basic salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, strong technical mentorship, exposure to high-quality sustainability-led projects, and clear opportunities for technical development and career progression within a respected consultancy.
