HSE Advisor Opportunity – Tier 1 M&E Contractor - Central London

We are working with a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with a major presence across the commercial, data centre and life sciences sectors is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their growing London team.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing health & safety documentation, compliance and processes across multiple sites throughout Central London, ensuring best-in-class safety standards are maintained on high-profile projects.

This is a site-focused role requiring regular visits to live construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and review all site-based HSE documentation including RAMS, CPPs and risk assessments

* Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety legislation and company procedures

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits across multiple projects

* Provide practical HSE guidance and support to site management teams

* Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety-first culture

* Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports with corrective actions

* Liaise with senior management and clients regarding HSE performance

* Drive continuous improvement across health & safety processes

Requirements

* Proven experience as a HSE Advisor within construction (M&E experience highly desirable)

* Experience working on commercial, data centre or life sciences projects preferred

* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)

* Relevant health & safety qualifications (IOSH, NVQ etc.)

* Confident communicator with strong reporting skills

* Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritise workload effectively
