1yr contract (Renewable/Convertible to Perm)

• Perform duties as the appointed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in compliance with MOM and corporate requirements
• Establish, implement and maintain Safety & Sustainability policies, risk management systems and procedures
• Ensure all company activities comply with local legislation and corporate safety standards
• Investigate accidents, near-misses and occupational diseases; submit reports to authorities and management
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, training programs and participate in safety committee meetings
• Manage medical surveillance and industrial hygiene monitoring programs
• Implement contractor management system and visitor orientation programs
• Track waste and environmental emissions to ensure compliance
• Assist Fire Safety Manager and support building projects/facilities matters on an ad-hoc basis
• Prepare and submit safety performance reports to management and corporate levels

• Minimum obtained a Specialist Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health from Ministry of Manpower or equivalent
  ,
• A registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Safety function in a manufacturing, repairs or service environment.
• Knowledge of Safety principles, hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control, and Environmental aspects and impacts
• Knowledge of WSH legal requirements and best practices
• Understanding of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 requirements
• Knowledge in Emergency Preparedness and Response Programs
  Knowledge in Accident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Skill.
