Location: Greater London

I am working with a leading renewables company who are looking for an Asset Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of UK renewable energy assets (solar &), driving performance and value for investors.

The Role

You will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of operational assets, ensuring optimal performance, strong stakeholder relationships, and compliance across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimise asset performance (solar PV) against KPIs

  • Implement revenue optimisation strategies across energy markets (e.g. balancing services, wholesale markets)

  • Manage O&M and EPC contractors, ensuring performance and contractual compliance

  • Lead incident resolution, maintenance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Oversee commercial agreements (PPAs, grid, land, and service contracts)

  • Identify cost‑saving and value enhancement opportunities

  • Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (investors, lenders, advisors, grid operators)

  • Ensure regulatory, ESG, and insurance compliance across assets

About You
  • ~3+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset management

  • Strong mix of technical and commercial understanding (solar and/or battery storage preferred)

  • Knowledge of UK energy markets and grid services is advantageous

  • Experience managing contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA) and stakeholder relationships

  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
