** Join us, be part of more.
** We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential.

That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.
** About your team:
** Centrica Power is at the forefront of the UK and Irish energy transition. Our portfolio spans flexible and conventional generation, renewable energy, energy storage and nuclear. With over £2bn of gross capital deployed, over 600MW in operation and a further 500MW in construction, still we continue with our ambitious growth plans in place, we’re building a Power business that will play a major role in the UK’s low carbon future.

We’re involved in some of the most exciting projects in the sector — from our 20% stake in the current UK nuclear fleet, to our 15% investment in the development of Sizewell C, to leading the UK’s first advanced modular reactor programme with X Energy and renewables portfolio. And that’s just the start. Over the next five years, we’re accelerating investment as part of Centrica’s green growth strategy.

This is your opportunity to help shape a business of major strategic significance to Centrica and to the UK’s energy mix.
** About your role:
** We’re looking for a
** Grid Intelligence Manager
** to build and own our view of how network access and system constraints shape value across Centrica Power’s portfolio. You’ll translate NESO, TO and DNO signals, from queues and reinforcement plans to constraint patterns, outages and reforms, into clear recommendations on siting, connection strategy, curtailment risk and commercial opportunities ensuring grid insight directly informs project development and value creation..

** We work flexibly in line with our Flexible First working arrangements believing that empowered colleagues are happier and more productive. This role will be initially focused on the UK and Ireland Power markets but may expand over time. Therefore, there will be a requirement to attend meetings across our Windsor, Reading, Ireland and London offices.
** Responsibilities of the role:
*** Develop and maintain a UK & Ireland grid constraints opportunity map, identifying where constraints occur, what drives them and how assets can monetise or mitigate them.
* Analyse constraint frequency, severity and system service potential to support commercial opportunity valuation, incorporating outages, reinforcement plans, queue movements and new connections.
* Provide grid‐led insight for asset and portfolio decisions, including location screening, technology fit, access risk and constraint exposure.
* Stay across key grid and regulatory developments, contributing SME input to consultations and industry forums.
* Interpret rule and code changes, producing clear briefs and recommended actions.
* Support revenue optimisation by feeding grid insights into dispatch, bidding and operational priorities.
* Lead engagement with external modelling and consultancy partners — defining scope, challenging assumptions and converting outputs into actionable decisions.
* Strengthen relationships with NESO, DNOs, TOs, industry bodies and peers to stay ahead of emerging constraint drivers and access developments.
* Run a simple governance cadence, including a constraints watchlist, decision triggers and concise monthly updates.
* Partner with connections and delivery teams (not owning day‐to‐day applications) to provide intelligence, translation and strategic decision support.
* Provide assumptions for project value drivers related to network connection, losses, constraints and…
