Solar PV Site Manager

Birchwell Associates are recruiting for an experienced PV Installer Site Manager to join an established renewable energy business delivering Solar PV and wind projects across the UK. This is a hands-on site management position supporting the installation of Solar PV systems alongside ongoing operations and maintenance projects. The role is based from Wadebridge, Cornwall , but involves regular travel to project sites throughout the UK and periods of working away.

The Role Manage Solar PV installation projects on site Supervise site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day activities Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are maintained Coordinate site activities, resources and project schedules Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting Support PV installation, operations and maintenance projects Liaise with internal teams, contractors and project stakeholders Work across UK project locations, including periods away from home Essential Requirements Previous experience within renewables, roofing or general construction Previous Site Manager experience Experience supervising a full site team Strong Health & Safety knowledge SMSTS Full UK driving licence Strong communication and organisational skills Methodical and process-focused approach Willingness to travel throughout the UK Happy to regularly work away Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work Desirable Previous Solar PV installation experience CSCS Card Asbestos Awareness Working at Heights Manual Handling MEWP 3a & 3b Telehandler ticket Level 2 Health & Safety
