Structural Engineering Manager - Offshore Wind – London

NB: it is essential to have senior structural engineering experience in offshore wind. Would suit senior/principal wanting to make step up in career.

• Establishing and growing an office in London for Leading Offshore Wind Engineering Consultancy. Specialists in Foundations & steel design for offshore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations e.g. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers.
• Lead role with a mix of business development and strategy, management as well as hands-on design engineering.
• Senior-level offshore wind structural engineering experience (package management, engineering management, and detailed analysis and design).

• Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree
• Offshore Wind engineering experience
• Structural engineering
• Excellent network within the renewable energy sector enabling business development
• Excellent communicator: written, chairing meetings & presentations

• Owner’s Engineer, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management experience
• Offshore wind turbine foundation experience (Jackets / Monopiles / Floating)
• Steel Structures e.g. Steel towers
• Geotechnical
• Offshore installation, structures, and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations
• Experience with certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas

NB: please note it is essential to have offshore wind structural engineering experience.
