Are you a time‑served Mechanical Inspector with a strong background in precision engineering and CNC manufacturing, looking for a long‑term role within a stable and well‑established engineering environment?

This is a confidential opportunity to join a specialist precision engineering business. The company has a long‑standing presence in its sector and places a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and engineering standards. Inspection and build quality are central to daily operations, and this role plays a key part in ensuring components meet specification before release.

You will work closely with production and engineering teams, providing hands‑on mechanical inspection support and ensuring components meet drawing and tolerance requirements. This is an autonomous position suited to someone confident working independently, with experience using CMM equipment and an interest in developing further through training on bespoke inspection software.

This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Inspector who enjoys hands‑on inspection, attention to detail, and working within a precision‑led manufacturing environment.

• Carrying out detailed mechanical inspection within a CNC precision engineering environment
• Using CMM machines for measurement and inspection (training provided on bespoke software)
• Inspecting completed work against engineering drawings and tolerances

• Time‑served Mechanical Inspector or similar inspection background within precision engineering
• Experience using CMM equipment and an understanding of inspection software
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement techniques
