Position: Tunnel Assistant Surveyor (Tunnel Construction Project)
Location: Greater London

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (). We are currently looking for a Tunnel Assistant Surveyor to join our team for a tunnel construction project in the South of London (100% Onsite).

Project

Tunnel construction project.

Estimated Duration

24-month contract. In general, when the project ends, we try to relocate the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.

Responsibilities
  • Support the surveying team in measurement, staking out, and geometric control tasks within a tunnel environment.
  • Assist with the setup and operation of surveying equipment, prepare materials, record data, and provide logistical support at the work front.
  • Assist with surveying and staking out tasks inside the tunnel.
  • Handle and transport surveying equipment (total station, level, scanner, etc.).
  • Set up and maintain control points and survey references.
  • Help collect and record field data and documentation.
  • Support safety procedures and logistical needs of the surveying team.
Requirements
  • Technical qualification in Surveying.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in underground works, tunnel, rail, or similar projects.
  • Previous experience in surveying or underground works.
  • CSCS card.
  • Work permit or right to work in the UK.
  • Willing to commute or relocate to South London.
Working Hours

7/3-7/4 shifts: day shifts (8am-6pm) and night shifts (8pm-6am)
