We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a successful design consultancy based in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ UK experience working on structural design within the residential and commercial buildings sector.

Essential

Experience:

• Minimum three years’ experience within structural design including steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction to Euro Code standards
• Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Master series and TEDDS design software
• Confident in producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
• Ability to prepare construction drawings and specifications
• Commercial awareness of costing, budgets, and quotations
• Report writing experience
• Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings

Desirable

Experience:

• Understanding of some of the following: TEKLA, TEDDS, STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
• Project management and leadership skills
• Working towards Charter hip
