We currently have two opportunities for experienced Field Service Engineers to join our UK Business Unit, supporting our growing customer base in the regions listed above.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end technical support for EFI customers in your assigned region.
- Perform onsite installations, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Support trade shows and customer demonstrations, including printer setup, calibration, operation, and breakdown.
- Deliver end-user operator training and ensure customers are confident in product use.
- Collaborate with our global R&D and technical teams, providing feedback on field performance and customer experience.
- Maintain EFI standards and act as a professional ambassador for the brand at all times.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the region, often at short notice (approx. 20% overnight stays).
- Technical qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, digital, or electronic technology.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field engineering role servicing complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Strong customer management and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent service delivery.
- Solid understanding of inkjet printing technology, RIP and colour theory, and materials/chemicals used in digital printing.
- Confident using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Self-motivated and able to independently manage a large service territory, including EFI assets (parts, tools, information).
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including use of precision alignment tools and tolerances of 0.001”.
- Fluent English required (written and spoken).
