We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.

By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability. As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate. As Port continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with our Account Executives in the mid-market and enterprise territories.

You will lead the technical strategy for high-stakes deals, requiring a unique blend of engineering rigor and strategic sales intuition. Your ability to translate complex infrastructure into relatable business value is indispensable; at Port, you aren t just giving a demo, you are ensuring Port s value is communicated clearly and effectively.

• Own the technical execution of complex enterprise sales cycles with 6–7 figure ACVs, navigating multiple stakeholders and high-stakes requirements.
• Lead technical POCs and tailored product demonstrations that map Port’s capabilities to specific customer pain points, ensuring prospects clearly see the platform s full value proposition.
• Work with Account Executives to define and fine-tune sales strategies, integrating technical insights.
• Provide feedback to our Engineering and Product teams, sharing front-line intel about customer needs and market demands.
• Engage in continuous learning, ensuring you re always up to speed on our latest product enhancements and the wider market landscape.

You ll be the tech wiz amidst a talented group of Account Executives, deepening their pitches with your technical know-how. You ll regularly provide insights to the product from your standpoint. Sales forecasting meetings will be richer with your presence. And, of course, key collaborations with our VP of Sales, CEO, CTO, and Engineering team will be essential. • 3-5 years of experience in a similar Sales Engineer role
• Hands on experience with developer tools, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to break down complex subjects in a relatable manner.
• A passion for selling with a keen sense of how technology addresses business needs.
• In-depth understanding of our product suite, and the ability to demonstrate them effectively.
• Problem-solving prowess, anticipating technical challenges and addressing them proactively.
• A collaborative spirit, eager to work alongside sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure Port s maximum market impact.
