As a Principal GIS Consultant at WSP, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping multi‑disciplinary projects across Water, Energy, Earth, and Environment. • Lead the GIS element on major projects in a multi‑disciplinary environment, with a focus on Development Consent Orders (DCO) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
• Drive digital transformation through innovative, client‑focused geospatial solutions across Water, Energy, Earth, and Environment
• Manage programmes and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered to established standards, scope, and budget
• Understand client needs to provide technical advice and solutions, including preparing proposals and bids to support business development
• Manage and develop a technical team with a customer‑focused approach to quality and service delivery
• Lead the development and documentation of efficient working practices to provide industry‑leading, best‑value services to clients
• Drive innovation and demonstrate technical leadership in delivering high‑quality solutions
• Occasionally travel to other offices for business development and project meetings

• In‑depth understanding of GIS principles and geospatial data management, with the ability to apply them across diverse sectors
• Proven experience in designing and deploying Esri Enterprise solutions, including:
  • Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online
  • Configuration of ArcGIS web applications such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, 3D scenes, Survey
    123, and Field Maps
• Highly proficient in building and automating workflows using FME Form and publishing workflows to FME Flow for enterprise‑level automation
• Experienced in driving digital transformation initiatives, including integrating Microsoft business applications (e.g., Power Apps) into geospatial services
• Skilled in at least one programming language for developing geospatial applications (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, R/Shiny), including use of Esri APIs where relevant
• Proficient in utilising Microsoft Azure (or similar) for cloud‑based geospatial solutions
